Interestingly, Azilal rugs were unknown to the worl until recently - they have been in the market not longer than couple decades! Azilal rugs are made from sheep wool, sometimes mixed with cotton. The Azilal rugs are becoming more popular as a more colourful vintage alternative to the most famously known Beni Ourain rugs. The Azilal region is in High Atlas Mountains. They have lot of culture, creativity and uniqueness in each one of them. No wonder they are so beloved.
